Nor the pages of the sages.
It’s not in the faeries dancing
Nor the rages in the cages.
It’s not in the stout dwarfish ales
Nor in the flagons of dragons.
Not crystal singing daggers
Nor horns of unicorns.
It could be battling demon hordes
Or slaying medusa.
It could be a castle wall
That never turns to dust.
It could be a crystal ball
That looks into the future.
It could be a magic sword
That never turns to rust.
But it’s not.
