I AM ETERNAL

Standing and watching you from across the room,
I could hear your words echo thru the crowd.

“I love you” fell from your lips like raindrops
Until I was soaking wet and dancing in the storm.

Whispering winds carry my heart’s song
To softly light on your awaiting ears,
